Fluoroscopes were popular in shoe stores, since they allowed the staff to see how well a shoe fitted using X-Rays. This one was constructed by Adrian X-Ray Company of Milwaukee and used until 1981. States banned usage of the device after discovering the harmful effects of over-exposure to radiation.
